Tomas Alfredson shot to fame after his superb film Swedish vampire movie
called Let the Right One In which turned out to be a staggering critical
success. Swedish director Alfredson's next directorial effort is another
adaptation of a novel and again critics are in awe of his most recent film
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

Insidious Movie Review
Director James Wan is best known for inventing the Saw franchise (a
franchise that is depressingly successful). Wan directed the first three Saw
movies and was producer for the rest of the franchise, so a goreless, spooky
haunted house story is a step in a different direction, a direction that
requires far more skill than any that is needed for a movie like Saw. To be
fair to Wan, it's not a bad effort, there are plenty of worse haunted house
stories out there but there are also plenty of better ones too.

13 Assassins review.
Director Takashi Miike is one the most active directors working in the film
industry, Miike regularly churns out around three films every year. Japanese
film fans will know him very well, acknowledging his lesser known films, while
film fans in general will perhaps know him for Audition and Ichi the Killer
which serve those with very strong stomachs. 13 Assassins made $800,000 in the
USA and £140,000 in the UK, a film like this deserves more but it's destined
for cult movie success.

Battle Cliche Movie Review
Here we go with another movie in which the Earth gets destroyed; the main
culprit of such movies in recent years is Roland Emmerich who is the man behind
Independence Day (which I really liked) 2012 and The Day after Tomorrow.
Michael Bay also features predominantly in this genre as his films include the
Earth under threat from asteroids, giant robots and Shia Labeouf.

Trust Movie Review.
Over the past year there have been a few films that
centralize around social network sites, the most famous of these films is, of
course, David Fincher's The Social Network, which lost out to The King's Speech
for the Best Picture Oscar for the year 2010. We also had Catfish which was a
documentary about the problems of social network sites, similarly to Trust,
Catfish shows that you can be anybody you want to on the internet and not
everybody is who they say they are.
